About this service
An outpatient treatment service provided to youth (12-18) identified as a young offender and involved in the youth justice system, and is experiencing difficulties in relation to their substance use.
The focus is to help youth and families increase their:
- Substance awareness
- Harm reduction strategies
- Relapse prevention
- Life skills
- Resiliency
- Individual and family coping strategies
- Parenting capacity
- Functioning in the community
- Natural and community resources
What services do we provide?
- Outpatient treatment service
- Substance misuse assessment
- Parenting support
- Intensive individual treatment
- Service planning (goal development) based on the individual strengths, needs, abilities and preferences of each youth
- Referral and case management within the substance/mental health/youth justice system of care
- Support with increasing community involvement
- Transition planning and support services
