About this organization

COVID-19 Update: We are continuing to practice safety, physical distancing, extra cleaning measures, to protect the employees, clients, volunteers and partners. There are a few updates as we continue to adapt to the faced-paced, changing demands on the services and programs offered at The Salvation Armys Centre of Hope. We operate breakfast and lunch programs at several local schools. We provide free meals for the homeless and persons of low income. We run a give away program for food, clothing and other basic needs. We provide counselling to persons coping with the effects of substance abuse. We provide emergency shelter services and operate a rent subsidy program to provide housing assistance to those at risk of being homeless. We run an outreach program to assist homeless persons to find affordable housing and refer them to other community resources.
