About this service
COVID-19 Update: The mobile feeding truck allows us the flexibility to go into the community to meet people where they are and ensures they are getting at least the basic essentials of food and water - not everyone can physically make it to the Centre of Hope for a meal or snack. On April 1st, staff and volunteers handed out lunch to the community using the truck, keeping social distancing and safety at the forefront. We are still serving daily from the Meal Centre, but the truck can be utilized for many occasions. The new unit has the capability to serve up to 1,000 meals per hour if needed.
Provides a free lunch to anybody who is hungry, as well as free bread and produce as available.
