About this organization
Waypoints envisions a community free of domestic-family violence, sexual assault, abuse and homelessness. Our programs and services provide support, education, and information to the community, focusing on the prevention of violence and abuse. Together, we can all make a difference!
We work with individuals in crisis or in need to:
- create safety plans
- break or escape the cycle of violence
- establish healthy homes
- move through the process of healing
- develop healthy relationship skills
Waypoints is available to work with individuals by:
- providing emergency and transitional shelter for women and women with children
- assisting in accessing community supports
- advocating for our clients
- supplying direct support
- offering individual trauma counselling
- delivering group programming
Waypoints continues to advocate for the protection of each persons basic human right to have a safe home and to be a part of our community without fearing for ones own safety.
