About this service
Rspace was introduced in 2012 as a multi-ministry program to provide services to persons with developmental disabilities in conjunction with facing additional challenges within their lives. This has defined the program to provide complex type services as these persons can present high risk lifestyles and require the assistance of multiple community resources. This program runs on an Outreach Model of support services.
Individuals receiving services in our program have experienced frequent homelessness; have addictions and mental health disorders. Historically, many have had difficulty accessing the community because of their state of intoxication &/or history of criminal or socially unacceptable behaviours.
