As the Grande Prairie Community Services, we treat all people with respect. We care for them by sharing Jesus, our resources, and our story with them. We build community by providing opportunities for people to belong. We walk with them through changes in their lives without judgment. Jesus gives us hope, and as we live in this hope, we allow others to discover the hope of Jesus in their own lives by demonstrating love in action and words. The Community Kitchen Project is a collaborative effort between The Salvation Army of Grande Prairie and The Grande Prairie Friendship Centre to merge their two existing and independently operated hot meal programs. We also operate a warming centre which is open from 7am - 7 pm, Monday - Friday. Breakfast is served from 8am - 9am, lunch from 12 pm - 1 pm, and supper from 5 pm - 6:30 pm. Saturday and Sunday brunch is from 12 pm - 2 pm.
