About this service
The Carlstrom Family Green Space is a self-directed studio and interactive gallery situated on the second floor of the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie. Since 2009, it has provided a space for all age groups to explore and react to art. The green space offers free art activities, inspired by the gallery's current exhibitions, to stimulate reflection, creativity, and inspiration. The projects within the green space cater to multiple skill levels, and participants are allowed to take their art home or contribute to the gallery's community art projects. Visitors are required to tidy up after themselves, and child visitors under 12 must be under the supervision of an older individual. The green space is open to the public with free admission.
