About this service
Offers support to families who have or are in the process of adopting children from other countries, or domestic adoption of children with health issues. This service is NOT for people looking to place children for adoption.
Supports families who have adopted children, which includes:
- international adoption and adoption of children with special needs
- pre-adoption counselling for international adoptions
- medical assessment once you have adopted
- medical care
- psychosocial support
- communicates with private and government social services and adoption agencies as needed
