About this organization

Boyle McCauley Health Centre is a medical home that serves Edmonton's marginalized inner-city community. BMHC provides full-scope, comprehensive primary health care services to individuals who may be experiencing homelessness and poverty, complex physical and mental health concerns, and substance misuse disorder. We practice an individual-centred, trauma-informed, harm reduction model of care, and offer wraparound services with a healthcare focus.

Please note that we are NOT a walk-in clinic for the general population - our services are targeted towards marginalized individuals, and thus, community members presenting to BMHC for the first time will offered a "new patient assessment"

BMHC's umbrella of services includes:

  • primary health care providers (physicians and nurse practitioners)
  • nursing staff
  • health advocacy
  • mental health and psychology supports
