About this service
The Hope Homes Program provides safe and stable housing options and individualized supports for youth, 16-24 years old, who are homeless or are at risk of homelessness.
Hope Homes operates from Housing First, Harm Reduction and Trauma Informed Practice models of care.
Hope Homes works with youth to:
- Access housing options including independent living, shared accommodation, supportive roommates, and community housing
- Receive community and professional resources
- Strengthen their life skills
- Move towards their educational and employment goals
- Build their support networks and strengthen relationships
- Connect to cultural resources
*Youth must be assessed through Safe Communities Opportunity and Resource Centre (SORCe)
