Carewest George Boyack opened its doors to the Calgary community in 1969 and has since grown to offer programs and services for 221 longterm care residents: 146 are in secured dementia care units, and 75 are medically complex care units.
Carewest George Boyack is also host to many community groups that bring specialized services and programming into the care centre for loved ones, including Ismaili prayer groups, Dim Sum breakfast, among others.
