About this service
The Shelter offers a temporary residential program for:
- Women who have been affected by violence from their partners
- Women who are in a state of transition and needing support
- The children of women accessing the shelter
We ensure our residents have access to:
- Crisis intervention and referral support
- Three nutritious meals per day
- Bedding, towels, essential toiletries
- Laundry facilities
- Confidentiality
We are committed to upholding the confidentiality of every person we serve, both while they are accessing the shelter and afterwards.
Length of Stay
- Up to 30 days, in most situations.
Referrals and Resources
- We provide information on services and make referrals to both government and community services to enable women to explore their options and define their goals.
Follow up Support
- We provide follow-up and support to discharged residents of the shelter during the ninety days following their discharge.
