About this service
ABOUT THE PROGRAM With funding provided from Reaching Home: Canadas Homelessness Strategy, STR8 UP is able to provide 11 transitional housing suites and 4 second-stage housing suites for individuals in our community. STR8 UP Transitional housing suites provide a 30-90 day stay for individuals who are being released from provincial or federal institutions or who have current criminal justice involvement. During their stay, individuals will be supported in obtaining government issued IDs, medical care, life skills, addressing addictions, education, employment, community support connections and permanent housing. STR8 UP second-stage housing suites provide a 6 to 12 month stay for individuals who are currently living in transitional suites and need additional support before they are ready to live independently in the community. THIS PROGRAM IS FOR PEOPLE WHO: are motivated to change have a willingness to follow expectations of sobriety are 18 years and older are justice involved or already connected with STR8 UP are Saskatchewan residents are willing to case plan and connect with our support staff want to attend programming based on their needs WANT MORE INFO?
