Mennonite Central Committee (Saskatchewan)

MCC in Saskatchewan is a local and global, non-profit organization that strives to share God's love and compassion. Biblical justice and peace undergirds our work with landless Indigenous bands, persons incarcerated and released from prison, at clubs in core urban communities, with newcomers and in academic and experiential peace events.

MCC works in 45 countries around the world. We partner with local churches and organizations with similar values to amplify our impact. Together we work in these three areas: Relief We help meet peoples immediate needs for survival during times of crisis, like during a hurricane or war. We also focus on helping communities prepare for and respond to disasters. Development We work to strengthen peoples long-term access to food and water, health care and education. Our programs also help people find ways to support their families. Peace We work with partners to teach conflict transformation skills, and support peace education. We advocate for justice and encouraging people to work together despite their differences.
