About Us What We Do To ensure the provinces food banks are strong and supported, Food Banks of Saskatchewan: Advocate on behalf of all member food banks Collect and share provincial statistics and information with media, MLAs, MPs, City Councilors, corporations and businesses Acquire and strengthen partnerships with provincial food distributors to secure long-term donations Encourage food banks to connect locally with businesses and community for support Initiate new fundraising opportunities Provide educational training opportunities for our member locations Who We Serve As members of Food Banks of Canada, Food Banks of Saskatchewan serves all 36 food banks within Saskatchewan, reaching every corner of the province. At the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre we are committed to ensuring a food secure community where all people have access to safe, affordable, and nutritious food. The Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre embraces its role as innovative and collaborative leaders in building an engaged, inclusive, healthy and empowered community for all. We also believe its important to address the underlying issues contributing to hunger and poverty in our community. In our Learning Centre we operate various learning, self-help and life skills programs that are supportive of learning needs and aspirations within a family oriented, empowering and self-directed environment. Main Facility/Warehouse: Monday to Friday 8:00am-11:45am and 12:30pm-4:00pm Client Services (Emergency Food Hamper Program): Monday to Thursday 8:30am-11:45am and 12:30pm-3:00pm Friday 8:30am-11:45am
