About this service
Street Cultures day program, Pit Stop, is an transitional program for youth ages 15-18 aimed to support youth in acquiring valuable skills to build success in education, employment and independent housing. The Pit Stop program offers youth an opportunity to learn about themselves, acquire valuable life skills, gain work experience, and engage in prosocial activities. Pit is based off of the four areas of resilience in the Circle of Courage: Mastery, Generosity, Independence & Belonging. The Pit Stop program is not meant to be a school substitute, but rather support for eventual transition back into education and/or employment. Youth are referred to the Pit Stop program through approved referral agencies.
