About this service
Parenting counselling offers individuals and/or parenting partners the opportunity to explore new ways of understanding themselves as parents, to recognize their parenting styles and to identify the dynamics at play in the parent/child relationship. Some common issues addressed include: co-parenting in mutually supportive ways, exploring family of origin issues, developing strategies for empowerment as parents, developing more secure parent/child relationships and exploring how to support children with the challenges of growing up.
