About this organization

Activities and services to help youth move from adolescence to healthy and productive adulthood. Programs provided by professional youth and healthcare workers include: hot supper program; after-school evening and weekend activity programs; workshops on anger management, substance abuse and other youth issues; support to young parents (e.g. home visits, parent effectiveness and traditional parenting classes); multi-cultural awareness programs; nutrition education; recreation (e.g. canoeing, camping, teepee raising, dance, swimming, skating); arts and crafts; youth volunteering and community ourteach; homework nights; film nights; special events (e.g. dances); pre-employment training; job mentoring.
