About this service
The Supported Living Program (SLP) provides services to people with a moderate level of disability living in their own homes (usually rented apartments) in the community. Support Workers provide assistance in banking, shopping, meal planning & preparation, physical care & hygiene and recreation. Currently there are 15 people enrolled on the program. The SLP program is currently providing a meal program to up to 10 individuals - 4 evenings/week.
The program is being operated out of the basement of Yvonnes Home.
The meal program is extremely beneficial to the clients on SLP ensuring they receive proper nutritionally balanced meals, while providing them with social/recreational opportunities.
