About this service
We have dedicated staff, supported by highly trained security cleared volunteers who work directly with the RCMP and Moose Jaw Police Service to provide the following victim services.
Emotional Support
Volunteers and staff provide emotional support in person and over the phone to victims, witnesses and their family members. We do not provide counselling but we can make referrals to appropriate counselling services in the community.
Information and Practical Assistance
Volunteers and staff can provide information on the status of your case, police and court procedures, your rights, etc. We can assist in filling out Victim Impact Statement forms, Victims Restitution and Victims Compensation forms.
Court Support
We can provide information about the justice system, witness information about testifying, updates on court appearances, referrals to Victim/Witness Coordinator, court accompaniment and liaising with the police and crown prosecutors.

Advise the victim of available resources.
