Eating well is important, but its not always easy. For many of us, buying fresh produce from the grocery store can be expensive. You might not know how to prepare the food. Or, the closest store to you does not stock many healthy options. We are surrounded by less-nutritious options like fast food, pop and chips. Community initiatives can help reduce some of these barriers to healthy eating. Midwest Food Resources supports local action to help make healthy eating a bit easier.
