The Dauphine - Babyboom and Sexual Health

The Babyboom service was born in 2004 when we noticed that, from three or four pregnancies per year, we had gone to more than twelve. Since then, nearly forty small families and a hundred people have been taken care of by this service. As these young mothers and fathers have broken with their social and affective network, the Babyboom service aims as much at the development of parental autonomy as the harmonious development, well-being and safety of young children.

The workers provide accompaniment at home and in the establishments of the health network to facilitate the reconstruction of the bonds that are often essential and necessary in the context of pregnancy, childbirth or for the care of infants and young children. .

This service also contributes to helping young people develop knowledge about sexual health so that they are better informed and can make informed decisions whether it is about contraception, pregnancy or STBBIs, for example.
