About this service
During the interview with an employer, the person with deafness can mention that the Fondation des Sourds du Qubec can grant financial assistance to the company equivalent to 1 month's salary at the company's minimum rate. This assistance will allow the company to verify the ability of the person with deafness to perform the job offered.
To receive this financial assistance, the person with deafness and the employer must submit an application for assistance that includes the following information:
- enter contact information for the company and hiring manager (name, phone number, address, etc.)
- identify the job title and the compensation offered
- a letter of confirmation of employment
- a copy of the audiogram of the person with a deafness (a deafness whose pure tone average is greater than 30 dB)
- the amount requested ( one month's salary )
All documents must be sent by email, mail or fax to the attention of Mrs. Audrey Rodrigue.
