PECH - Street Work

Street/milieu work enables intervention, if possible, before a problem arises, a crisis situation deteriorates, or hospitalization becomes necessary. We strive to set up a support system by offering a daily presence, human contacts, and occasional services so that the person finds solutions to the precariousness of their situation.

It is through active listening, maintaining the link, personalized referral centered on the specific and immediate need of the person that the street/environmental worker best succeeds in helping the people with whom he comes into contact. One-off intervention services are an opportunity for special moments of contact with individuals. Through these services, a bond can be created, a relationship can evolve and, thus, the ultimate goal of the community worker is achieved. As a result, people can, at their own pace, access, if they wish, community support at Pech or with other partners.
