About this service
The purpose of the sewing workshop is to reuse and transform items (furs, ties, threads, fabrics, tablecloths, fleece, cushion shapes, small stuffed animals, etc.) donated to the MSCCR.
Ties are transformed into bow ties, fur coats into pompoms and cushions. These objects are put up for sale during the food drive activity, sponsored by the MSCCR.
The seamstresses also make clothes and comforters for children aged 2 to 6, which are donated to the organization Support Familial Flocons d'espoir and the Fondation du Dr Julien. They also make dish towels for the food parcels distributed by our organization.
Registration :
Free. The workshop welcomes new volunteers at all times
