About this service
ACCOMPANIMENT OF IMMIGRANTS IN AN IRREGULAR SITUATION
The Community Case Management and Control (CCMS) program is a national program offered by the John Howard Societies of Canada at the request of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). It is a risk-based community release program as an alternative to detention. The John Howard Society will be responsible for delivering the program, including assessing eligibility, enrolling, developing a response plan, assisting with issues of plan non-compliance community monitoring and compliance reviews.
SUPPORT FOR INCARCERATED FATHERS OR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN INCARCERATED IN THE PAST
We offer different programs for incarcerated or recently released fathers. Their status as a father tends to be forgotten, so we have developed partners to allow them to converse parental bonds with their child.
