An Accorderie's mission is to fight against poverty and social exclusion by using the exchange of services and education through cooperation . It strengthens solidarity between people of different ages, genders, cultures and incomes.

An Accorderie works in the world of community action as much as solidarity economy, by proposing an alternative economic system based on the creation of a new form of wealth . A collective and united wealth that is essentially based on the potential of the members of the entire community. A community where, too often, the poorest citizens are deemed unproductive, because they are unemployed, in school, retired, etc. or occupying a badly paid job, they are excluded from the spiral of overconsumption.
