About this organization
This barracks was built in 1967 according to the plans of the architectural firm Blanger and Tremblay to replace the old barracks 11 which was on rue de l'Espinay. Officially inaugurated in 1970, it is the first "modern" barracks built in Quebec and the first to be built in nearly 45 years. It changed numbers to Barracks 7 in 1983 and Barracks 4 in 1992. It now houses the Chief of Operations for the Eastern District.
