About this organization
Barracks 3 was originally built as Barracks 8 in 1893. Expanded in 1912, it remained Barracks 8 until 1983, when the barracks were re-numbered; it then replaced the current barracks 2 as barracks 3. It was restored in the early 1990s and will undergo major work over the next few years to bring it up to current standards.
