About this organization
Matine Frimousses is a non-profit community resource center that allows parents of young children (0 to 5 years old) to meet and discuss topics that concern them . We are recognized as an OCF (Family Community Organization) by the Ministry of the Family. Our mission is to provide, within the community, a place for exchanges, activities and learning for parents and their children by:
Breaking the social isolation of families of various statuses and compositions;
Informing and educating parents about various facets of their responsibilities and educational actions (eg conferences by professionals from different fields);
Developing a network of mutual aid and sharing within a given community (exchanges between mothers through our coffee-discussions, our Tricrochet afternoons or through our hardware repair service);
Promoting the socialization of children;
