About this organization

Bring the participant to achieve the academic prerequisites in order to register for a vocational training course and/or to acquire sufficient knowledge to pass the 5th year secondary school level equivalence tests in order to integration into the labor market.

The person is assessed on their knowledge in 7 subjects:

  • French
  • French
  • economics
  • humanities
  • math
  • English as a second language
  • Natural sciences
  • The pass mark is 60% for each of the tests. You must obtain it in the two French tests as well as in three of the other tests. In the event of a failure, it is possible to retake each of the failed tests once

Successful completion of the TENS will allow you to obtain an equivalence certificate for Secondary V education (AENS) issued by the MELS.

  • Promote your access to the labor market, as many employers recognize it
  • Meets one of the eligibility conditions for vocational training programs
