About this organization

The organization was founded in 1977 by Mrs. vangeline Bdard and Mrs. Gertrude Couture with the sole support of an anonymous helpline dedicated to people suffering from psychological distress. Over time, Contact Elders evolved under different names Prire Secours (1977-2003) and Listening Secours (2003-2014).

However, the organization has always dedicated its services to vulnerable clienteles. In 2014, the organization began a new chapter in its history, by offering new services to fight against the social isolation of seniors.
