About this organization

Special Olympics Quebec (OSQ) offers quality recreational and competitive training programs at low cost in order to promote accessibility to all people living with an intellectual disability in Quebec.

It is a privileged place for athletes and their entourage. Behind every athlete are people concerned with promoting the self-esteem of each. Athletes benefit year-round from the tremendous support of volunteer coaches. Registering for Special Olympics Quebec programs allows the athlete to:

  • improve your physical condition
  • to develop their motor skills
  • exceed personal goals
  • to gain self-esteem
  • gain greater autonomy
  • to develop interpersonal relationships
  • to join the ranks of a regular sports club
  • to have the opportunity to travel
