About this service
A Gathering Activity
The luncheon discussion is an activity where AFPAD members are invited to gather and discuss their drama in complete freedom and offer mutual support, all in a space without judgement. These two (2) hour lunches are hosted by a volunteer named ambassador who has usually experienced a similar tragedy.
The objectives of these meetings are: to break the isolation; create bonds of solidarity, mutual aid and support; to verbalize the experience according to the stages of the grieving process; to normalize emotions.
