Family Practice
What is Family Practice?
Family practice means that comprehensive care will be provided to all members of families registered in this category. This includes a yearly physical examination, review of health history, screening through lab tests, pap test, mammograms, bone mineral density testing and focused exams throughout the year for concerns related to the patients heath.
Family practice patients may schedule an appointment with Dr. Sherman at their convenience. Scheduled appointments help prevent extensive waiting times, although some waiting times may occur; typically 15-30min. If there is an emergency or more urgent issue, patients may also see Dr. Sherman through the Walk-In Clinic, however longer delays may be expected.
