About this service
Children First is one of 48 programs that offer Infant & Child Development Services in the province of Ontario, funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. We provide a range of services aimed to promote optimum development for children and enhance parents confidence and capacity to support their childs developmental needs.
Families whose children have or are at risk for developmental concerns, are assigned to an infant and child development professional (Resource Consultant). The Resource Consultant partners with the family and takes on the role of the Primary Partner.
Our staff are qualified, skilled and experienced in the area of child development and early intervention. We are able to provide occupational therapy, speech and language, psychology and social work consultation, assessment and intervention based on the needs of each family.
