About this service
Naloxone is a fast-acting and life-saving drug that is used to temporarily reverse the effects of opioid overdose. In the event of an overdose, Naloxone can restore breathing within 2-5 minutes. It has been responsible for the successful reversal of thousands of overdoses across Canada. Naloxone kits are available without a prescription and free of charge to any person with a valid Ontario Health Card.
