About this service
NEW for Grades 2 and 3
Our partners at Durham EMS will be offering a 90-minute Intro to First Aid (non certification). Students will learn about the important role our Paramedics play in our community, and how the students themselves can contribute to the safety of their families and friends by learning and practising simple First Aid techniques. A tour of a working ambulance and an opportunity to see and learn about the equipment that paramedics use in their lifesaving work will be part of the program. Classes are offered on Mondays and Thursdays from mid-April to the end of June.
