About this service
Genesis Day Treatment: The Genesis day treatment program is for clients, ages of 12 18, who require Treatment for Concurrent DisordersMental Health and Addictions. The program is an Adventure-based program utilizing our Natural surroundings and harm-reduction model of substance abuse treatment. Ongoing Intake is available for the Genesis Program, which offers 16-week rotations. This program includes Individual, Group and Family Counselling, Adventure Based Learning, Academics, Life Skills, Healthy Active Living and Individualized Transition Planning.
Alternatives for Youth (AFY): Alternatives for Youth is an outpatient program providing a variety of community treatment programs for youth and families of the youth, who have concerns related to alcohol and/or substance use and mental health. AFY encourages youth who are using alcohol and/or substances to look at alternatives, using a client-directed and harm reduction model.
