About this service
This program provides young persons with the skills to enable them to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life. The program follows a SKILLS checklist that will allow everyone to garner the tools to be stable, self-sufficient and live independently. This program is offered in partnership with the Waterloo Region District School Board. Young persons who are registered in our Section 23 School Program can receive a post-secondary school credit upon completion of this program. This program incorporates and promotes the positive parenting principles initiated by the Positive Parenting Community Committee of Waterloo Region.
