About this service
Do you have a child starting Junior Kindergarten in the fall? Our Kindergarten Readiness program prepares children and their families for the transition into the school system.
This three-day summer program in partnership with schools in Marmora, Madoc, and Tweed is for children who will be attending Junior Kindergarten in September. The Kindergarten Readiness program runs in all three communities.
- Improve the childs success at school.
- Become involved in your childs learning.
- Familiarize your child with their classroom.
- Practice school routines and activities.
- Your child will learn to recognize their own name.
- Your child will make new friends prior to the beginning of school.
- Increase your child's confidence.
- Especially beneficial for children who have not attended day care or nursery school programs.
