About this service
Do you have a child starting Junior Kindergarten in the fall? Our Kindergarten Readiness program prepares children and their families for the transition into the school system. This three-day summer program, in partnership with schools in Marmora, Madoc, and Tweed, is for children who will be attending Junior Kindergarten in September. The Kindergarten Readiness program runs in all three communities. Familiarize your child with their school. Gain insight into the pickup/drop-off procedure. Practice school routines and activities. Your child will meet potential classmates and new friends prior to the beginning of school. Increase your child's confidence about starting this exciting new adventure. Especially beneficial for children who have not attended daycare or nursery school programs.
