About this service
EPIC (Education Provided In Community) is an after school tutoring program designed with the childrens spiritual, relational and academic lives in mind. Each child in this program, is intentionally paired with a volunteer tutor who is screened to be a good match for the student. Through this pairing, each volunteer tutor has the opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with a child in need, and help provide enhanced learning, a Christ-centered academic mindset, and a way to rise above the challenges they face. The result is enhanced learning, identification of needs and a step towards building a community of hope.
