About this service
At SRCHC, we offer a broad scope of programs and variety of services aimed at improving the health and well-being of Newcomers.
These programs are delivered through our inter-professional teams, enabling newcomers to receive quality care and social support that they need.
PROGRAMS INCLUDE:
- Food Security (includes Gardening in schools and communities, Good Food Markets, and health eating and shopping on the budget sessions for all, especially low income families)
- Healthy Environments includes campaigns and education sessions to improve indoor air quality, environmental health surveys and
- Seniors Health and wellness programs
- Children and Families (Jumpstart programs (0-2yrs) and Peer Nutrition (3-6yrs)
- Womens Health (includes Postpartum Adjustment support, Womens Health Screening, Breast Feeding)
- Mens health
- Parenting program
- Refugee Healthcare
