About this service
Part of the Intermittent Community Work Program, our Toronto, London, and Ottawa location also provides substance use programming for eligible individuals convicted of impaired driving-related offences and serving intermittent sentences on weekends. Springboards Substance Use Program for Impaired Drivers is a psycho-educational program that introduces participants to concepts used in substance use rehabilitation in order to motivate them to enter more intensive rehabilitation if required, thus reducing the harmful consequences caused by drinking and driving. One of the seven sessions includes a victim impact panel, led by a speaker from MADD Canada who has been directly affected by the actions of an impaired driver
