About this service
Ultimately, it is the kids that will make the decision to use drugs or not. And as they move into middle and high school and social pressures become intense, they can face that decision everyday. Our goal, therefore, is to reach kids early so they have the tools to handle situations when they arise.
To make these tools understandable and usable however, we need to connect with the kids in a personal way; to tie the issues discussed to their own experience so that they are able to come away with practical information, insights and training they can actually apply when they need to.
Speaker presentations... addiction experts and recovered drug addicts interactively share their experience with the kids
Student workshops... often, some of the kids identify strongly with the speaker,
Parent/Teacher workshops... offer unique insights on drug/alcohol use and addiction as well as tools and information to facilitate collaborative efforts between parents and educators
