About this service
Children attending the full-day kindergarten at Dundas Junior Public School or First Nations School may be provided with licensed care from 7:00am to the start of class time, and after school until 6:00PM. This program also offers licensed care on PD days and school holidays including summer and Christmas break.
Our Aboriginal Daycare Centres are licensed by the City of Toronto Children Services division. Fee subsidies are accepted and priority is given to Aboriginal children.
Each Aboriginal Daycare Centre offers:
- Quality Aboriginal programming 5 days a week
- Qualified Registered Early Childhood Educators
- Nutritious snacks and lunch on full day programs
- A nurturing and holistic environment
- Culturally responsive curriculum
- The option to attend Aboriginal Head Start
