About this service

Bereavement programs at Jewish Family and Child Service (JF&CS) are facilitated by professionals and offer inclusive support to individuals experiencing grief. The programs welcome participants from all cultural, religious, and racial backgrounds and provide fee reductions based on income. The Therapeutic Bereavement Group aims to help participants navigate grief and build resilience by offering a therapeutic space for sharing and learning about grief, engaging in mutual support, and practicing coping skills. Another program, Rebuilding After Spousal Loss, focuses on helping those who have lost a spouse or partner to explore their emotions, reinvest in life, and find new purpose. Both programs offer sessions free of charge and are facilitated via Zoom.
