About this service
The Meals on Wheels program by Circle of Care is one of Canada's largest, serving Toronto and southern York Region for over 50 years. Annually delivering more than 280,000 meals, the program caters to diverse nutritional needs with regular, certified Kosher, and vegetarian meal options. Meals are delivered frozen and come in microwave-ready trays. Certified Kosher meals are prepared by Baycrest Health Sciences and Sepha Foods, and regular meals are provided by Aromas World Kitchen. The program also offers special dietary accommodations and bulk meal deliveries, thanks to the efforts of over 140 volunteers. Eligible clients include those aged 55 or older with nutritional concerns and difficulty in cooking or shopping.
