About this service
The Community Free Tax Clinic is an effort by the Islamic Foundation of Toronto and its dedicated volunteers to offer help to students, seniors, and lower-income families prepare and file income tax returns.
All volunteers receive training from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) through the CVITP program and can offer simplified returns filing only. We can also help file prior year returns. We provide filing services to all; irrespective of religion and faith, as long as they meet the eligibility guidelines set by the government's CVITP program.
Our tax clinic operates by appointment during the week and walk-ins on the weekends until April 30th, 2020. After April we continue to help on appointment basis. Prior year returns are also prepared. Facility is wheelchair accessible.
